Department of home science is a vibrant department . Department was established with the college establishment We have a very cute lab within the primices every year we organise parishadiya pratiyogitayen . Usually we go for competitions like Rangoli decoration POT decoration, poster, debate, flower making, flower decoration, salad decoration. recipe competition etc.

In the year 2019 we organised a health camp for the young girls and they were fully checked up for their eyes , for their gynec issues, height ,weight and other health parameters. We also conducted various workshops on food preservation, recipes ,bakery ,jewellery making ,paper masshy, flower making,Pooja thali decoration ,gift wrapping etc.

Our result (Deprtment of Home science) since 2016 ranges between 98 to 100% . Every year in the month of September we celebrate nutrition week where we organise a lecture on low cost recipes which are nutritious . We organize poster competition, slogan competition and low cost nutritious recipes competition 1 to 7th August we organise lecture on breastfeeding. Few of a students are doing well in the fields as teaching , panchayat assistant working with various companies, teaching computer and also pursuing higher education as MA Home Science and NET preparation.
